CAN I USE MY CARAVAN ALL YEAR ROUND?

All our caravans, FROM THE BASIC MODELS UPWARDS, are manufactured using a process that is unique on the market, called IRP.
The advantages provided by IRP are IMPROVED INSULATION, GREATER RESISTANCE and ENHANCED PROTECTION.
As a result, you can make the most of your caravan all year round.
Of course, depending on the use you make of it during the winter, you need to choose the right heating solution

WHAT TYPE OF HEATING FOR MY CARAVAN?

The type of heating will depend on what use you make of your caravan, and we provide a range of different high-performance heating systems:
– GAS HEATING: continuous and precise temperature regulation.
– FORCED AIR: uniform heat distribution.
– ULTRAHEAT: electrical resistance allowing double distribution of hot air and quick temperature increase.
– UNDERFLOOR HEATING: aesthetic, ergonomic and silent.
– TRUMA iNET & iNET X: remote control of heating and air-conditioning equipment

IS MY CARAVAN ENTIRELY SELF-SUFFICIENT?

Of course. All our caravans can be equipped with a battery or solar panel to make them self-sufficient in all circumstances.
All our caravans are also fitted with a WC and water tanks to complete this self-sufficiency.

WHAT TYPE OF CAR DO I NEED TO TOW A CARAVAN?

We make every effort to develop and produce lightweight caravans that are easy to tow: this can be seen in the very DNA of CARAVELAIR.
As a result, you don’t need an ultra-powerful car to be able to tow one of our caravans – that is one of our strengths!

ON THE MOTORWAY OR IN THE MOUNTAINS, WHAT IS THE RISK OF MY CARAVAN SWERVING?

The secrets to good road holding are careful driving and a correctly loaded caravan.
Nevertheless, yaw dampers and/or stabilisers can be added to your caravan if they are not fitted as standard.
Always remember that the load inside the caravan should be properly distributed before you set off.

DOES THE FRIDGE WORK WHEN DRIVING?

In most cases, the fridges don’t work when driving but retain the cold during the entire journey. This is the case with our 85 l and 140 l three-way fridges.
On certain models, we nevertheless offer the 150 l XL FREEZE compression-drawer fridge, which will continue to operate and generate cold even when driving.

CAN I TAKE THE FAMILY’S BIKES WITH US?

Bikes are one of the three favourite items that people take on holiday.
Our ranges therefore take this into account, and you can:
– Use the garages of the family models to protect your bike inside,
– Install a bike carrier at the rear of your caravan thanks to the mountings provided for this purpose
– Install a bike carrier in front of the front luggage compartment on an A-frame.

WILL MY CARAVAN NEED FREQUENT SERVICING?

Your caravan loves being cleaned, aired and pampered!
Otherwise, apart from an annual leakage check to protect the 7-year watertightness warranty (standard on all our models), your caravan will ask nothing else of you but to enjoy.

CAN I PURCHASE MY CARAVAN OR HAVE IT SERVICED DIRECTLY VIA THE PRODUCTION SITE?

You can only purchase your caravan and have it serviced via our network of dealerships, who are genuine specialists in recreational vehicles.
